With plentiful liquidity chasing investment opportunity, portfolio managers, financial institutions and retail investors provided a strong and sustaining bid for corporate bonds. The corporate bond market in Canada resumed its spread narrowing, with substantial momentum, in the fourth quarter of 2003.
